Going to New York this weekend! Excited about it, even though it will be cold as balls. Don't have much of anything planned. Will *try* to get rush tickets on Sunday to Waiting for Godot with the sirs - wish us luck?

So...this time next week, Bri and I should be at the Supernatural convention in Toronto! I'm a little anxious about it. I look forward to the drive up and the drive back (I love road trips), but there's:

• the matter of what we're gonna do with the car while we're in Toronto (I hate paying for parking, but it looks like it will be inescapable)

I just got an email from Tripadvisor telling me that it has been a year since I last posted a review there. Which means it's been a year since Turkey/Greece. What a great trip that was. I was in NYC yesterday, and I was really stuck by how much light the city gives off at night (from the Verrazano, driving home at 9:00pm, it was especially evident - like the entire city was under stadium lights), how freaking LOUD it is under the elevated subway lines in Queens when a train goes by, and how nice everybody was.
